Columbus Hop Rhizome:
Grow your own hops at home. Columbus Hop Rhizomes are grown in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Rhizomes are shipped in moistened peat moss and sealed in a plastic bag to maintain optimum health and viability.
Grows well, climbs well, can throw sterile male flowers when stressed; which can reduce total yields. Low resistance to mildews and mites. More clustered & dense cone set than Zeus. Tolerant of heat and alkaline soil types; grows well in sandy soils if properly fertilized. Dense tight cones must be dried carefully. 30”-36” in-row spacing.

The rhizome was very small
- [Beer Grains] Thank you for your feedback. It's not so much the size that matters, it's more important the rhizome is healthy. Hop rhizomes come in all shapes and sizes, if it's healthy it will produce a nice big hop plant :)
