Description
Azacca hops, named after the Haitian god of agriculture, is considered by many brewers as being well suited for IPAs. This is a dual-purpose hop with a pleasant mix of tropical fruits and citrus. Some notes of spices, mango, pineapple and some pine can be detected on the palate. Azacca is well suited for single hopped beers with its excellent aromatic qualities. This hop is perfect for late additions and dry-hopping.
Typical brewing styles: IPA, NEIPA, Pale Ales
Fresh citrus, lemon, piney, tropical fruit
Purpose: aroma and bittering
Alpha Acid: 14% - 16%
Beta Acid: 4% - 5.5%
Origin: US
Possible substitutions: Citra, Galaxy, Mandarina Bavaria
