Campden Tablets (10 Pack)

Campden tablets, typically made of either potassium metabisulfite or sodium metabisulfite, and commonly used in brewing water to remove chlorine and chloramine, which can adversely affect the taste of the beer.

It's essential to note that while Campden tablets effectively remove chlorine and chloramine, they do not remove other contaminants or minerals present in the water. If you're concerned about other impurities in your brewing water, you may need additional water treatment methods, such as filtration or adjusting the water chemistry with brewing salts.

Recommended dosage

Use 1/2 of a tablet for a 19 - 23 litre batch.  Crush into a powder and add to mash and sparge water.  Let sit for 15 - 20 minutes so the metabisulfite reacts with and neutralizes the chlorine and chloramine present in the water.
