Description
Nugget has a super alpha acid content, it also has a low beta and low cohumulone percentages which gives it an excellent bittering kick. Nugget is popular in IPAs, Imperials and other super hoppy brews. It has a high myrcene content which results in a green, herbal aroma. Mainly used as a bittering hop but can also be used for aroma.
Typical brewing styles: Ales, Barley Wine, IPA, Imperial IPA, Stouts
Solid bittering, pear and peach notes, herbal aroma
Purpose: aroma and bittering
Alpha Acid: 9.5% - 14%
Beta Acid: 4.2% - 5.8%
