Weyermann Pilsner malt is a German, lager-style base malt. This malt is produced from high-quality 2-row spring barley. It contributes a pale-straw colour and adds a mild malty-sweet flavour with a gentle note of honey. Pilsner malt is a very flexible grain with high extract efficiency, exhibiting excellent lautering properties and yields. This pilsner malt also contributes substantial body and mouthfeel to the finished beer. This malt will give your beer a good foam development and head retention.
