Pink Boots Blend (2019) - 454g

YCH’s Pink Boots Blend has become a well-known movement in the hop community, as brewers from all over the world incorporate this hop blend into beer recipes each year, in celebration and support of women in the brewing industry. For Pink Boots Society (PBS) and Yakima Chief Hops (YCH), creating the blend is half the fun, and quite the celebration itself.

The blend is produced and sold by Yakima Chief Hops with limited availability, and $3 per pound sold will be donated to the Pink Boots Society scholarship fund.

Who are the Pink Boots Society?
They are the female movers and shakers in the beer industry. They get the beer brewed and fermented with the highest possible quality. They also own breweries, package the beer, design beers, serve beers, write about beer, and cover just about any aspect of beer, and are all women. Most importantly, they teach each other what they know through seminar programs, and they help each other advance their beer careers by raising money for educational scholarships.

This years blend consists of Azacca®, El Dorado®, Idaho Gem™ and Loral®, creating a blend with tropical, citrus and piney aromatic qualities.  This is a dual purpose hop which has a high alpha and lots of flavour.  Use this hop for dry-hopping and get the tropical flavours soaring.
