Lalvin Wine Yeast EC-1118:

EC-1118 is one of the worlds most widely used yeasts! It has the ability to ferment at low temperatures, has good flocculation and excellent alcohol tolerance.

  • Ideal for different wines with a wide pH range
  • Fast fermentation rate with short lag phase
  • Low foam production
  • Low H2S production

  • Use for 4.5L-23L batch (1-6 US Gal)
  • GMO and Gluten Free
  • Alcohol Tolerance: up to 18%
  • Optimum Fermentation Temperature: 15°C (59°F) to 25°C (77°F), ferments well between 10°C (50°F) - 30° (86°F)
