Weyermann® Oak Smoked Wheat Malt is produced from German-grown top quality wheat. This wheat malt is known for its fine oak smoke aromas and taste, as well as hints of vanilla and honey.
Suitable for Wheat beers of course, as well as any Smoked beer style. Also perfect for the Grodzizkie (Grätzer Beer) style.
Usage: Up to 80%
SRM: 2.1 - 3.0
EBC: 4.1 - 6.0

Fantastic for Grodziskie

The first all-grain beers I made was with this grain, I used a half pound of rice hulls in the mash to ensure a clean sparge and even though it was a low efficiency, the flavor was great. It was a light and clear summer beer with a unique and refreshing smoky taste that was a big hit in my family.
