SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

General Philosophy
Beer Grains Supply Co is committed to your complete satisfaction. We strive to ship your package within 24 hours of receiving your order. The order is packaged with great care to ensure ingredients are kept fresh during the journey and the package arrives safe and sound. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will work hard to correct the situation. SHIPPING
Beer Grains ships all orders via Canada Post. The customer is responsible for all fees associated with shipping. You may select the method and speed of delivery during the checkout procedure. Shipping rates and estimated delivery time are calculated automatically by Canada Post during checkout. On average packages deliver in roughly half the amount of time that is estimated. Customers are billed the exact amount quoted by Canada Post at checkout. In certain rare circumstances shipping charges may be much higher or lower than that which is quoted. In those circumstances you will be contacted and informed of a refund or balance owing for freight. Geographic Area

Canada: We ship to every province and territory in Canada. We collect all applicable Canadian federal and provincial taxes as required for the jurisdiction where the goods are being shipped.

USA: We ship to the Continental US, Alaska, and Hawaii. The customer is responsible for all shipping, duties, customs, state, and federal taxes.

International: We ship to most developed countries. The customer is responsible for all shipping, duties, customs, and applicable taxes.

*Note: It is not advisable to ship perishable ingredients to remote locations such as Hawaii, Alaska, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon, Labrador, or fly in communities. Perishables cannot be guaranteed when shipping to such locations.

Perishables
Certain ingredients, such as liquid yeast, are perishable and risk permanent damage if not packed and shipped correctly. Ice packs and insulated packaging are available as an add on option. There should normally be no issues while in transit for up to 3 days, however the yeast will perform better if kept cool. If shipping duration or heat is a concern an ice pack, insulated packaging, and/or Xpresspost shipping service is recommended. Beer Grains guarantees liquid yeast viability for up to 3 months after purchase with or without the use of an ice pack. Either way, we’ve got you covered! All perishables are shipped via Canada Post Expedited service by default. Delivery service cannot be guaranteed to all locations. Please contact us for specific details on your location.


RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Returns

While we hope you never need to return anything, if it happens it's no problem at all. You may return anything within 30 days of the sale for any reason. You will receive a full refund less shipping costs immediately. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Exchanges

You may exchange anything except ingredients or food products for any reason within 30 days. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with exchanges.

Damage

Orders are packed extremely well but if you find an item arrives broken or damaged it will be replaced immediately and we will pay the cost of shipping to send your replacement item. We may ask for an email photo for our records and to assist with a Canada Post claim.

Ingredients
Most ingredients need to be opened and/or used before you know there is an issue. Ingredients that come with a manufacturers Best Before date are guaranteed fresh to that date; please note this is a guide only, your ingredients may last much longer. Otherwise, we guarantee all ingredients to be fresh for 3 months from the date of purchase. If you find your malt, hops, yeast, or other ingredients are not fresh as guaranteed contact us as soon as possible for a replacement or full refund. If a replacement is desired we will ship the replacement immediately and pay the cost of shipping.

Sale Items
Some sale items may not be returned beyond 30 days from the date of delivery. Items that are non-returnable or non-refundable are clearly marked in the item description.
