This single-strain isolate from the Lærdal Kveik (sourced from Dagfinn Wendelbo) ferments fast (like most kveik), flocculates well, and adds a strong pineapple ester aroma and some orchard fruit aromas to beer. Laerdal Kveik yeast is likely suited to hazy IPAs or English ales where pineapple esters are desired.
