Description
Green Bullet hops have become the signature New Zealand hop; bringing a refreshing bitterness with its high alpha acid content. This hop has a complex flavour and aroma profile. Being a dual purpose hop, Green Bullet is considered a bittering variety for lagers. When used as an aroma and flavouring hop, you can expect some dark fruits (like raisins), pine needles, floral aromas and slight spice. This hop works best with big style beers like stouts, imperial IPAs.
Typical brewing styles: Imperial IPA, Imperial Stout, Session IPA, Stout
Floral, resinous, raisins, spicy
Purpose: aroma and bittering
Alpha Acid: 11% - 15%
Beta Acid: 2.9% - 7%
Origin: New Zealand
Possible substitutions: Crystal, Hallertau, Mount Hood
